Incredible Cards Club

Incredible Cards Club beginning this month!   I will be demonstrating  new techniques every month.  Those of you that have participated in this club before know that it is a fun and easy way to build up your stamping supplies!  This card using the Joseph’s coat technique is one of the cards that we will be making at the first club meeting in September.

Tinkerbell

Well this is my attempt at creating Tinkerbell using punch art.  I have not really experimented with punch art before but I really wanted to make a Tinkerbell card to go with a Tinkerbell birthday present.  I got my inspiration for the card from the Rubber Stamping Diva website.  She has some great punch art on her site.  I did not have all of the punches that she used for her fairy so I had to substitute.  I ended up using the three heart punch for the body of the dress, the wings, as well as for the slippers.  I guess overall the card turned out okay for my first attempt.

Supply list: Whisper White CS, Lovely Lilac CS, Almost Amethyst CS, Gable Green CS, Very Vanilla CS, Barely Banana CS, Big Shot & texture plates, a variety of punches, and Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon.

Fall Beauty

I know it sounds crazy to be thinking about fall already but it truly is my favorite time of year!  The smell of crisp air, leaves, and all the beautiful colors.  So I designed this card with fall in mind.  I used an embossing technique called Joseph’s Coat.  Once you get the hang of it the technique it is fairly easy.

Ink:  So Saffron, Old Olive, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Versamark

Paper: So Saffron, Old Olive, Really Rust, Very Vanilla, Glossy White

Accessories: Brayer, Scallop Oval Punch, Sm. Oval Punch, Twine, Big Shot Texture Plates
